Wow — pretty political for kids so young
The cat lives in a garbage can?!?
Oh, wait. Israel. Yeah. Indeed, she’lo asani chatul.
Davis: I think not so much political as patriotic. I don’t think there would be anything political in an Arab claiming Arabia for the Arabs, or China for the Chinese. But I agree that Zionism, or indeed anything Israel does, is interpreted as political.
Heather: Lucky Dusty, to have been an American cat (though his fate might have been that of an Israeli cat had you not happened by at an opportune moment).
Oy…Israel..cat in the trash…oy…CATS ARE MADE TO BE CUTE CUDDLY LITTLE PETS THAT SOOTHE YOUR EVERY WORRY WITH THEIR PURR!!!!!!!
Davis: On second thought, did you mean that portraying cats living in trash cans was political?
Michael: Spoken like a true cat lover. For those of us who prefer most other animals to cats (with the possible exception of barracudas), they’re right where they belong.
